If your flight is arriving late at night, and you check-in after 11.30pm, please be aware that a \u20ac10\/hour surcharge will apply to cover the overtime payment of our receptionist.<br \/>\nHere are the directions for the hostel:<\/p>\n<h3>By Airport Transfer (20 mins)<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are coming from the airport, we can organize a pickup service to the hostel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From Tenerife South Airport \u2013 Reina Sof\u00eda, the journey will take approximately 20 minutes and will cost 28\u20ac during daytime and 30\u20ac after 9 p.m. (max 4 people).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From Tenerife North Airport \u2013 Los Rodeos, the journey will take approximately 1 hour and will cost 70\u20ac at anytime.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We recommend that you use our pickup service if your flight is arriving late at night: our reception is open from 9 a.m. until midnight. If you check-in after midnight and don\u2019t use our service, please be aware that a 10<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u20ac\/hour surcharge will apply to cover the overtime payment of our receptionist. If you use our pickup service, there will be no extra charge regardless of your arrival time. All late check-ins must be informed previously.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>By Car (Approximately 20mins.)<\/h3>\n<p>Take the highway (autopista) in the direction of \u201cLos Cristianos-Las Americas\u201d. Pass Los Cristianos and take the exit 76 \u201cTorviscas\/Playa Fa\u00f1ab\u00e9\u201d. Be careful not to turn right in the direction of Torviscas instead continue straight towards Playa Fa\u00f1ab\u00e9. After 200 meters, turn left at the sign \u201cPlaza del Duque\u201d and pass through a tunnel. There will be a garden centre in front of you. Turn left here (only option) and then immediately right. Continue for 50 meters, then take the first turn right onto Avenida Jardines del Duque. Drive through the first junction at Aqua Mall Commercial Centre and then turn right onto Calle Reykjavik. After 100 meters, you will see a large white arch on your left with \u201cLas Amapolas\u201d written on it. Park here and ring the bell for La Tortuga.<\/p>\n<h3>By Bus (60-90 minutes)<\/h3>\n<p>Titsa, the bus company of the island, is synchronized with Google Maps. For this reason, the easiest way to get to the hostel is to put on Google Maps \u201c La Tortuga Hostel\u201d as destination and follow the directions.<br \/>\nTake bus n.111 (frequency: every 30 minutes) to Las Americas bus station (60-90 minutes journey). From here, take bus no. 467 (runs every 15 minutes) to Playa Fa\u00f1ab\u00e9. Ask the driver to let you off at Centro Comercial El Duque (and the Saturday market). The hostel is a 5-minute walk away from the bus-stop.<br \/>\nWalk back to the roundabout and turn left onto Avenida de Mosc\u00fa in the direction of the mountains. After 100 meters, you will reach a large commercial centre called \u201cAqua Mall\u201d. Turn left into Avenida Jardines del Duque and then right onto \u201cCalle Reykjavik\u201d. After 100 meters, you will come to a large arch on your left with &#8220;Las Amapolas\u201d written on it. Ring the bell for La Tortuga.<br \/>\nAnother option is to take any of the buses no. 447, 460, 471, 473 or 477 to bus stop &#8220;Miraverde&#8221;. Walk towards the bridge that crosses the motorway. After, when you arrive on Helsinki street, turn right toward the little garden. Our street is the first on your left \u201cCalle Reykjavik\u201d. After 100 meters, you will come to a large arch on your right with &#8220;Las Amapolas\u201d written on it. Ring the bell for La Tortuga.<\/p>\n<h3>By Taxi (Approximately 20mins.)<\/h3>\n<p>Average journey takes about 20mins. Ask your driver to go to Calle Reykjavik, in Plaza del Duque near to the Centro Commercial El Duque. Tell him that we are just in front of the Residencial Benimar. Average taxi rate from the airport: between 27 and 35 euro.
